During the twenty-five years owning and operating a family-run printing business in Wokingham, Berkshire, Colin Munday, then a graphic designer, saw the potential of this new invention called ‘the internet’ and started dabbling in creating rudimentary websites in 1996.
Initially run off the back of the printing business, The Web Workshop was founded in 1998, creating websites for some of the business’ forward-thinking print clients.
Having started at internet ‘ground zero’ the development of the internet to its current state has been an extremely interesting and exciting time for The Web Workshop!
Fast-forward more than twenty years and The Web Workshop, now with offices in Umberleigh - just outside Barnstaple - within glorious North Devon, have gone from strength to strength. We are now a group of web experts consisting of designers, front and back-end developers and digital marketers, with the company continuing to be led by Colin and still run as a family business.
